The original RESCUED PAPER NOTEBOOK made from an assortment of discarded papers.

This version of our rescued notebook features a silk screen printed cover, cloth spine and rescued paper within. The sheets are folded and bound so the blank back sides face out for writing, while the printed sides face in, offering a reveal of printed paper.

This item was our very first SUKIE product which was picked up by the buying team from Habitat at Darrell's MA show at the Royal College of Art back in 1999. It was from this first order that our company SUKIE was born. It is still one of our bestsellers and still made by the same ethical manufacturers in India providing work for local people. We think that the old fashioned methods of printing and construction they use suit the Sukie brand perfectly.

Rescued paper products are made from paper stocks that would otherwise be discarded. Found in Old Delhi's Paper Market as well as among misprints and overruns from manufacturers across India, the rescued paper is sorted, folded and bound with thread and silk screen printed covers.
