Absolutely fabulous early 20th century fold down, leather covered writing slope with 2 lift-up compartments, removable pen rest tray, storage areas and brass plaque, fittings and catch to hold main writing surface in place. Best of all, it has an ingenious secret compartment which can only be accessed by releasing a wooden panel. If you have the slope towards you, pull up on the small wooden divider next to the ink bottle storage on the right-hand side. The panel will ping off revealing 2 small drawers!
